St Saviour’s College named a Queensland ‘Superstar School’
St Saviour’s College has once again been recognised among Queensland’s top-performing schools, following its inclusion in The Courier Mail’s list of ‘Superstar Schools’ based on the 2024 NAPLAN results.
The annual report highlights Queensland schools that consistently outperform expectations, with St Saviour’s College excelling across four of the NAPLAN domains (grammar, spelling, reading and writing).
College Principal Jessica Wade said this acknowledgement affirms the College’s reputation for academic excellence and student achievement.
“This is not the first time our college has been recognised for punching above its weight,” Mrs Wade said.
“In 2022, we were named as one of Queensland’s leading 'bang for buck schools’ based on our outstanding Year 12 results.”
Mrs Wade attributed the College’s continued success to its focused and ambitious learning environment.
“Our academic results continue to strengthen, and we’re proud of the culture of ambition and support that drives our students to flourish,” she said.
“They are guided by a passionate team of educators and a community that is deeply committed to their success.”
The ‘Superstar Schools’ list celebrates schools that deliver excellent results in NAPLAN, often despite challenges faced by their communities - making St Saviour’s College’s accomplishments all the more impressive.
